  3. FIX FOR AIRPODS CONNECTING BUT WONT PLAY SOUND ON MacBook Air*

Go to settings –> bluetooth –> forget AirPods –> reconnect them –> remove “in ear connection” –> restart your MacBook –> go in settings –> bluetooth –> enable “in ear connection –> play sound.

This worked for me and should work for you too, if you are experiencing the same problem.

  6. Resetting the AirPods did the trick (pods in case, close case, open case, press button on back of case for ~15 seconds). Thank you.

  8. I’m having trouble with my AirPods on phone calls. Audio output on my end is fine, but the caller on the other end is not hearing anything. This appears to be an AirPod issue, hardware 1.0.0 on my end, updated firmware to current. Tried many of the reset options presented, none worked. Airpods work fine with music, apps, etc, works fine bluetooth audio w/ MB pro 2019 for FaceTime and Zoom calls there. Also, do not have “tile” app, use watch, attempted those resets too, to no avail.

  9. My right pod is working but my left one is not for some reason, before it turned off it made a little pop in the left one but it looks the same

  10. I have just stumbled across this problem. I got my AirPods under 2 months ago and now they have no sound. They are usually quick to alert me they are connected, but as I put them in two minutes ago, the sound that tells you they are connected is on mute. It says that my AirPods are connected and discoverable, but no sound. I have tried all of these methods. Both AirPods aren’t working

  11. Got AirPods Pro this week. Can pair with MacBook Pro, and Iphone 10 max. Even got them paired with AppleWatch 5. My issue is that when I pair the buds to my phone, and stream music, the Left bud doesn’t work. I have reset everything, turned off, unpaired, forget device, all of it. My left bud works fine paired with phone and computer. The entire reason I got them was to pair directly with watch for exercise, errands etc so I can leave phone home. HELP!

  12. Thanks! Holding the back button for 10s and worked for me. I didn’t know that

      1. I had the same problem. Tried restarting my iPhone, reconnecting my AirPods, even tried my old earbuds to make sure it wasn’t my phone. Finally discovered the airpods sound bar was turned all the way down in the command center. Turned the bar up and voila! Sound!

  15. This helped my situation. All I did was restart my phone, and my AirPods(hold button on back down for 15 seconds). Thank you so much!
