Apple Products Filed in Regulatory Database
Apple has filed iPad models, published today, in the Eurasian Economic Commission database ahead of the 9/7 event. Unfortunately, listings only mention vague descriptions, in this case, “tablet,” of the products; however, we can guess that the filings likely represent the rumored 10th-generation low-cost iPad, iPad Pro and potentially more.
The 22 iPad models have the identifiers: A1538, A1566, A1584, A1670, A1673, A1701, A1822, A1876, A1893, A1980, A2133, A2152, A2197, A2228, A2229, A2270, A2316, A2377, A2378, A2567, A2588, A2602. They are all listed as running iPadOS 16.
Eurasian Economic Commission filings are legally required for any devices that rely on encryption sold in Russia and some other countries. Apple typically files them a few times a year. Usually, we see Apple products in the Eurasian database roughly 1-3 months before release. However, there is no guarantee.
For the September event, we could see the unveiling of the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, the new Apple Watch 8 series, Apple Watch Pro, Apple Watch SE and AirPods Pro 2.
