How Do You Turn Apple TV Auto-Play Off

By default, Apple TV’s Auto-Play feature will begin automatically playing trailers and previews on the Home screen. Automatic video play is a feature that can help you discover more great content more easily. It can also be pretty annoying, distracting and potentially harmful.

Auto-play can be harmful. You may be exposed to content (e.g, mature, disturbing videos) that you do not want to see. Do you want to stop Apple TV from auto-playing videos? Then this article is for you.

This article explains how you can turn off auto-play on Apple TV.

1. On your Apple Tv, open Settings

2. Go to General > Accessibility > Motion.

3. Then turn off the switch for Auto-Play Video Previews. Doing so will disable the automatic playback of video previews. Instead of videos, you will see still images.
