Screen Recording Failed To Save Error Fix
Are you unable to save screen recordings on your iPhone or iPad? Several iOS users have reported that they get the following error messages when they attempt to create a screen recording on the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. There are two types of user reported error messages:
A-The first error message says, as you can see below:
Screen Recording failed to save due to: The operation couldn’t be completed. (Cocoa error -1.). This article explains what you can do to fix this problem.
B-The second error message is very similar. You may also get this error message saying:
Screen Recording failed to save due to: Failed to save recording
iOS has a built in audio and video screen recording feature (this means that you do not need to install additional apps). You need first go to Settings > Control Center > Customize Controls and add Screen Recording and then open Control Center and tap the Screen Recording icon to record your screen. Your recordings will be saved to Photos and will appear in the Camera Roll.
Please note that when you experience this error, your recording will be gone. There is no way to find or recover your unsaved video or audio recordings.
The second error message because the video or content is protected or copyrighted. As you can see from the photo above, we attempted to record a Netflix video and we could not. You will not be able to record protected or copyrighted movies or other content. This is not a bug this is not Apple’s fault. This is working how it is supposed to work. Because you are allowed to record everything.
If your recordings are not being saved because of the cocoa error, then please try the following tips:
After you try each tip below, please check to see if your problem is fixed.
