  1. It’s not always easy to do, but once you open Force Quit:

    Highlight “Finder” –> Hit Enter to Force Quit Finder

    This has always brought my cursor back regardless of cause.

  2. ‘Don’t know how long this will continue working, but if you pretend the cursor is on-screen and move it using the trackpad to the very top of the page and then click on the trackpad the cursor re-appears.
